We cordially invite you to a lecture by Prof. Lloyd Gerson (University of Toronto) on Plato's Moral Realism. The lecture is held on the occasion of the launch of the Philosophy and Ethics undergraduate program and the activities of the Department of Philosophy and Law. The lecture is accompanied by a seminar on the same topic.
Lloyd P. Gerson (b. 1948) studied philosophy and philology at the University of Toronto, where he is also a professor. His research interests include the history of ancient philosophy, especially Platonism and Neo-Platonism, as well as metaphysics, epistemology and political philosophy. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and of several other international learned societies. Among his many publications, he is best known for his works on Plotinus, and especially for his complete translation of Plotinus' Enneads.
