Even during the summer, our faculty does not sleep. During July, intensive teaching of ethics took place for fifteen students from Loyola University in Baltimore. After the covid break, we resumed our mutual cooperation, which dates back to 2004. Thanks to it, American students can fulfil some of their study obligations from their home university right here. In addition to studying ethics, they expand their knowledge in the field of management and international business under the guidance of Dr Christy DeVader, who runs the program on the US side.
The programme was coordinated ThLic. Bc. Barbora Šmejdová, Ph.D. The course Ethics: Contemporary Moral Issues was taught by doc. PhDr. Libor Ovečka, Th.D., ThLic. Mgr. Lenka Makovcová-Demartini a MUDr. Jan Fošum.
The continuation of the program is planned for next year as well, and the opportunity to take a summer ethics course together with American guests will also be open to our students.
