V rámci doprovodného programu mezinárodní konference studentů doktorských programů "Staré a nové. Staré jako východisko či překážka?" bude probíhat prodej knih zejména z produkce Katolické teologické fakulty a dalších zajímavých titulů. Spoluorganizuje Studentský spolek KTF UK COPERTINO.

Mezinárodní konference je určena všem českým i zahraničním studentům doktorských programů denního i dálkového studia dějin umění, teologie, literatury, hudby i dalších kulturně historických oborů. Konference si klade za cíl umožnit představení výsledků dosavadního bádání studentů, přinést aktuálních a nové poznatky vzniklé na základě přípravy jejich disertačních prací, vzájemně konfrontovat metodické přístupy a tím podpořit jejich vědecké aktivity.
Téma konference "Staré a nové. Staré jako východisko či překážka?" bylo záměrně zvoleno tak, aby zaujalo co nejširší okruh doktorandů z humanitních studijních programů a poskytlo dostatek prostoru pro volbu tématu a jeho zpracování. Jednotlivé konferenční příspěvky se mohou zabývat díly výtvarnými, teologickými, kulturně-historickými, literárními, hudebními apod. Příspěvek by měl být zaměřen na diskurs pojmu starý a nový, ať již v rámci děl hmotných, například z oblasti výtvarného umění, tak i děl nehmotných jako hudební dílo nebo duchovní idea. Ústřední myšlenkou by však vždy měla být percepce, jak se v daném uměleckém díle či názorové ideji zrcadlí předchozí tvorba a myšlenky. Ve studii by mělo být reflektováno, jak se autor či hybatel nového díla, proudu či názoru vůči staršímu vymezoval nebo zda staré, dříve vzniklé hmotné artefakty nebo myšlenky pojal jako základní kámen.

Old and New. Are Old Works of Art a Starting-Point or an obstacle?

This international conference is intended for all Czech and international doctoral students on full-time or part-time study programmes in the fields of art history, theology, literature, music, and other cultural and historical disciplines. The aim of the conference is to enable students to present the results of their research so far, to introduce new and current insights based on their work on their dissertation, to compare their methodological approaches, and thus to support their research activities.
The theme of the conference “Old and New. Are old works of art a starting-point or an obstacle?” was deliberately chosen so as to include the broadest possible circle of doctoral students from the humanities and to provide sufficient scope for their choice of theme and the way it would be treated. Contributions to the conference can deal with works of art, or theological, cultural-historical, literary, musical, or similar works. Papers should be focused on the discourse on the concept of old and new, either in reference to material works, as in the field of the visual arts, or to immaterial ones, such as a musical work or an intellectual idea. However, the central idea should always be how the work of art or viewpoint in question reflects previous creative work and ideas. The study should reflect how the artist or initiator of a new work, tendency, or viewpoint delimited it in relation to older ones, or whether they made use of older artefacts or ideas that had come into being earlier as a foundation.

Il Vecchio e il nuovo. Il Vecchio: un punto di partenza o un ostacolo?

Il convegno internazionale è aperto a tutti gli studenti cechi e stranieri partecipanti ai corsi di dottorato di ricerca in storia dell´arte, in teologia, in letteratura, in musica e in altre specializzazioni di carattere storico-culturale. L´ obiettivo dell´iniziativa è di concedere agli studenti un forum dove possono presentare i risultati delle ricerche svolte e le scoperte fatte in corso di preparazione delle tesi di dottorato di ricerca e inoltre di offrirgli la possibilità di confrontare diversi approcci metodologici a sostegno delle loro attività scientifiche.
La scelta di un tema così vasto come "Il vecchio e il nuovo. Il vecchio: un punto di partenza o un ostacolo?" non è casuale. Abbiamo infatti l´intenzione di coinvolgere il maggior numero possibile di interessati tra gli studenti dei corsi di dottorato di ricerca in scienze umanistiche e di concedere la massima libertà nella scelta dell´ argomento e nello svolgimento del discorso. Gli interventi possono quindi riguardare opere d´arte visiva, scritti teologici o scritti di carattere storico-culturale, opere letterarie o composizioni musicali. Devono essere centrati sul discorso dei concetti del vecchio e del nuovo in relazione alle opere di cultura materiale, per esempio arti visive, oppure a quelle non materiali, per esempio opere musicali o idee spirituali. La percezione del contenuto del passato nel presente, di riflesso delle opere e delle idee precedenti nell´ opera soggetta all´analisi dovrebbe comunque sempre risaltare come centrale. Il saggio dovrebbe contenere la riflessione sul rapporto dell´ autore di una certa opera o del promotore di una nuova idea, di una nuova corrente nell´ arte o nel pensiero con il passato: cercava di negarlo, di distinguersi, o invece ha concepito le vecchie opere d´ arte o le idee dei suoi predecessori come base e punto di partenza?

Die internationale Konferenz ist für alle tschechischen und ausländischen Kunstgeschichte-, Theologie-, Literatur-, Musik- und weitere Kulturgeschichte-Studenten der Doktorprogramme sowohl im Tages-Studium als auch im Fernstudium bestimmt. Ihr Ziel ist es den Studenten zu ermöglichen die Ergebnisse ihrer bisherigen Forschung zu präsentieren, ihre neuen und aktuellen bei der Vorbereitung der Dissertationsarbeiten gewonnenen Erkenntnisse vorzustellen, ihr methodisches Herangehen gegenseitig zu konfrontieren und dadurch ihre wissenschaftlichen Aktivitäten zu unterstützen.
Das Thema der Konferenz „Altes und Neues. Altes als Ausgangspunkt oder Hindernis?“ wurde absichtlich so gewählt, um einen möglichst weiten Kreis der Doktoranden in humanistischen Studienrichtungen anzusprechen und einen genug großen Raum für die Themenwahl und deren Verarbeitung zu bieten. In den einzelnen Konferenzbeiträgen können Kunst-, Theologie-, Kulturgeschichte-, Literatur- und Musikwerke und Ähnliches behandelt werden. Der Beitrag sollte den Diskurs des Begriffes alt und neu berücksichtigen, egal ob im Rahmen materieller Werke, wie z. B. aus dem Gebiet der bildenden Kunst, oder geistiger, wie z. B. ein Musikwerk oder eine geistige Idee. Den roten Faden sollte jedoch stets die Perzeption bilden, wie jenes Kunstwerk oder jene Idee das vorherige Schaffen und die vorherigen Ideen widerspiegelt. In der Studie sollte reflektiert werden, wie der Autor oder Beweger eines neuen Werkes, einer geistigen Strömung oder Ansicht sich gegenüber dem Älteren abgrenzte, bzw. ob er alte, früher entstandene materielle Artefakte oder Ideen als seinen Grundstein auffasste.

Der Organisator verpflichtet sich in kürzester Zeit nach dem Konferenzabschluss den Konferenzsammelband herauszugeben.
